The increase in Gender Based Violence (GBV) and femicide cases in Elim, Limpopo has prompted VFP to hold a GBV campaign to increase awareness, motivate community members to speak-out and find lasting solutions to curb this scurge that is spreading like veld fire. a men-only GBV dialogue/workshop took place on the 8th of July followed by a women`s only one on the 5th of August. the platform was aimed at giving people a friendly floor to air their problems without fear of the opposite gender first before an inclusive campaign event.
